After the completion of the allotment process on October 26, market participants are now tracking the expected listing price, grey market premium (GMP) and potential listing-day gains.
The Rs 30,213-crore Jio Platforms IPO received an overwhelming response from investors, with the public issue subscribed 22.19 times overall. The strong demand, particularly from institutional investors, has raised expectations ahead of the company’s debut on the BSE and NSE.
Here is a look at the scheduled listing time, latest GMP, estimated share price and other important details investors should know.
Jio Platforms IPO Listing Date And Time

Jio Platforms shares are scheduled to make their stock market debut on both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday, October 28. Trading is expected to begin at 10 am, following the exchanges’ special pre-open session.
The pre-open session is scheduled to take place between 9 am and 9:45 am. During this period, investors can place fresh orders and modify or cancel existing orders. The exchanges will then undertake order matching and determine the opening price between 9:45 am and 9:55 am.
A transition period will follow before normal trading begins. Investors will closely monitor the opening price to assess how the stock performs against its IPO issue price.
Jio Platforms IPO Latest GMP Today

Jio Platforms IPO last recorded Grey Market Premium (GMP) is Rs 254, updated on Oct 27, 2026 11:02:03 am, according to the grey market tracking website, Investorgain. With an upper price band of Rs 1119.00, the estimated listing price for Jio Platforms IPO is Rs 1373 (cap price + today’s GMP). This indicates an expected listing gain for Jio Platforms IPO of 22.70 per cent.
The grey market trend has, however, shown fluctuations over the past 24 sessions. The tracking model indicates that the premium has moved within a range of Rs 125, without establishing a consistent upward or downward trend.
Investors should remember that GMP is an unofficial indicator and does not represent a price published by the stock exchanges. It can change quickly depending on market sentiment, demand and broader market conditions. The actual listing price may differ considerably from the level suggested by the latest premium.
Jio Platforms IPO Subscription Details

The Rs 30,213-crore public issue was launched with a price band of Rs 1,065 to Rs 1,119 per share. The minimum application size was 12 shares, requiring retail investors to invest Rs 13,428 for one lot at the upper price band.
The IPO attracted total subscriptions of 22.19 times the shares on offer. Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) led the demand, subscribing to their allotted portion 70.55 times. The non-institutional investors (NII) category recorded 14 times subscription, while the retail individual investor segment was subscribed 2.72 times.
The strong institutional response was a key feature of the issue, although subscription figures alone do not determine how a stock will perform after listing.
How Jio Platforms Plans To Use IPO Proceeds

The IPO comprised a fresh issue of 27 crore equity shares and did not include an offer-for-sale (OFS) component. The company plans to use up to Rs 27,500 crore from the proceeds to repay borrowings of its subsidiary, Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd.
The issue also included a reservation of up to 46,94,835 shares for eligible employees. Employees were offered a discount of Rs 54 per share on the issue price.
Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Ltd. served as the book-running lead manager, while KFin Technologies Ltd. was appointed as the registrar for the IPO.
