Gold Rate Today (February 4, 2026): Yellow Metal Jumps Nearly 3%; Check Prices Of 24K, 22K & 18K In Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad & Other Major Cities

Gold Rate Today: After a few days of relentless selling pressure, gold prices have staged a rebound in the last few days. On Wednesday, February 4, gold prices in India standat Rs 16,053 per gram for 24-carat gold, while 22-carat gold is priced at Rs 14,715 per gram. Meanwhile, 18-carat gold is trading at Rs 12,040 per gram, according to the data from Goodreturns.
Gold had been under pressure following a strong rally that pushed prices to historic levels in late January. On January 29, 24-carat gold touched a lifetime high of Rs 1,83,000 per 10 grams. However, heavy profit-booking triggered a steep correction of nearly 17 per cent, wiping out more than Rs 30,000 from its value within days.
MCX gold prices saw a strong upward move on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, reflecting renewed buying interest in the futures market. MCX gold was trading at nearly Rs 1,58,440 per 10 grams, rising by Rs 4,631, gaining 3.01 per cent in the latest trading session.

What Experts Are Saying

Market experts believe the rebound reflects renewed buying interest after a sharp correction. Saumil Gandhi, senior analyst for commodities at HDFC Securities, told PTI that investors who were waiting for a correction are now viewing current levels as an opportunity to enter long positions.
