‘Global Economy Is Crashing’: Rich Dad Poor Dad Author Robert Kiyosaki’s Fresh Warning Has This Message For Investors

Robert Kiyosaki, the bestselling author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, has once again sounded the alarm over what he believes is an unfolding global economic crisis. In a post on X, the personal finance author reiterated his long-standing view that the world is heading toward one of the most severe financial downturns in history, urging people to take action before it is too late.
According to Kiyosaki, economic crises reshape wealth distribution, creating major losses for some while opening opportunities for others who are prepared. He also reminded followers that he had outlined similar concerns years ago in his book Rich Dad’s Prophecy, claiming those who followed its advice are in a better financial position today.
In his latest social media post, Kiyosaki maintained that the global economy is already experiencing the early stages of a major collapse.
“REPEATING: Global economy is crashing. I predicted this in my book Rich Dad’s Prophecy. Those that followed the guidance in that book are OK today,” he tweeted.
Despite his bleak outlook, Kiyosaki suggested that investors still have an opportunity to reposition themselves before the worst effects of the downturn are felt.
“Please remember, it’s not too late to make changes now. Please remember in every crash many people are wiped out, and a few people get richer. I want you to be one who gets richer,” he added.
Although he did not specify fresh investment strategies in the post, Kiyosaki has consistently encouraged investors to diversify into assets such as gold, silver and Bitcoin during periods of financial uncertainty.
Gold And Silver Continue To Be Kiyosaki’s Preferred Investments

Kiyosaki recently reinforced his optimistic outlook on precious metals by endorsing veteran investor Jim Rogers’ expectations for gold and silver prices. In a post shared on July 18, he agreed that both assets have significant upside potential despite experiencing periodic corrections.
He pointed out that gold had retreated from $5,405 to $4,006, while silver had declined from $118 to $56. According to Kiyosaki, many investors make costly mistakes by buying after prices have already surged and selling when markets correct.
“I am in agreement with my friend Jim Rogers. During this last ‘retracement’ or ‘crash’ I bought more gold and silver,” Kiyosaki wrote.
Explaining his continued purchases of precious metals, he questioned the ability of governments and central banks to resolve mounting economic challenges.
“The world economy is in great trouble, and I do not trust our leaders or central banks to solve the problem. In fact, they are the problem and things like debt and inflation will only go up.”
He concluded by asking investors whether they would “buy high and sell low” or “buy low and get rich,” before reiterating his belief that “Gold and silver are going to the moon.”
Who Is Robert Kiyosaki?

Robert Kiyosaki is an American entrepreneur, investor and financial educator who gained worldwide recognition through his bestselling book Rich Dad Poor Dad, first published in 1997. The book has sold millions of copies globally and remains one of the most influential titles on personal finance.
Over the years, Kiyosaki has consistently warned about rising global debt, inflation, excessive money creation and structural weaknesses in the financial system. He has repeatedly argued that investors relying solely on traditional savings or fiat currencies could face the greatest risks during a prolonged economic downturn, while tangible assets such as real estate, commodities and select alternative investments may offer better protection.
