IndiGo: A significant management change has taken place at IndiGo. CEO Pieter Elbers has stepped down from his position with immediate effect, stating personal reasons for his departure. Following the resignation, Rahul Bhatia, Managing Director of IndiGo’s parent company InterGlobe Aviation, will temporarily take charge of the airline’s leadership.
TVS Supply Chain Solutions: TVS Supply Chain Solutions has established a 40,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Mannur near Chennai to support Caterpillar India’s global sourcing operations.
Eicher Motors: Eicher Motors has unveiled leadership changes at VE Commercial Vehicles, with B. Srinivas set to become Managing Director and CEO from April 1 and Vinod Aggarwal taking over as Chairman.
HG Infra: HG Infra Engineering has secured a substantial infrastructure contract valued at Rs 401.33 crore from Anuppur Thermal Energy (MP) Private Ltd. The project involves the development of railway infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh for a 2×800 MW thermal power plant.
The scope of work includes civil construction activities such as earthwork, bridge construction, station buildings, and P-way works required for railway connectivity at the power project site.
Waaree Energies: Waaree Energies has announced an international investment through its wholly owned subsidiary, Waaree Solar Americas Inc. The subsidiary has entered into a share subscription agreement with United Solar Holdings Inc.
Under the agreement, Waaree Solar Americas will subscribe to approximately 5.37 million Series B preferred shares for about $30 million. The company clarified that the deal is not a related-party transaction and that none of its promoters or group entities is involved in the arrangement.
Brigade Enterprises: Brigade Enterprises has announced its entry into the industrial real estate space with the launch of Brigade Industrial Park, a 25-acre project in North Bengaluru.
Polycab India: Polycab India said a tax demand for the assessment year 2024–25 has been revised downward to ₹57.58 crore after corrections to earlier calculations. Bosch Home Comfort India, however, has invoked force majeure due to gas supply disruptions linked to the ongoing Middle East conflict.
