Trolls Golf Club – The future of golf is now

Unfortunately, most of these courses offer public tee times only once in a blue moon, or only after purchasing memberships whose starting prices could also be used to buy yourself a new sports car.

For the golfer who loves playing the best courses in the country, has a passion for generating passive income, and is interested in the world of NFTs (non-fungible tokens), the next evolution of sports tech is here in Trolls Golf Club.

What is it?

The Trolls Golf Club is a new iteration of the NFT with a sports twist. Beginning in Fall 2022, investors can purchase a limited number of Golf Troll NFTs which contain exclusive tee times at some of the most elite golf courses in the United States. The NFT is the brainchild of founder and Chief Troll Officer (CTO) Josh Bricker, who was able to play a number of exclusive courses as a teenage golf caddy, only to find those same courses largely closed for access to the average golf enthusiast.  The Golf Trolls NFT will have a limited supply of 2,500 tokens for sale in the US. Not only do they offer access to legendary golf courses around the country, but they can be leased or loaned to other individuals for a fee, allowing their owners to bring in passive income as other golf enthusiasts exchange funds for the right to employ the NFT’s QR code to enjoy a round of golf at courses most players only dream about.

Owning an NFT

Owning an NFT is just like owning any object of value, physical or digital. You are awarded proof of purchase and from there, you decide what to do with it. Some owners will hold onto their Golf Trolls and watch them rise in value; some will swap with other members of the Trolls Golf Club on even terms, and others will farm theirs out to friends, family, and an entire Internet community and turn their one-time investment into a long-term source of income. The NFTs won’t just be about golf tee times, however. The Trolls Golf Club will create and give away merchandise including golf hats, golf shirts, customized golf bags, coaching lessons, and once-in-a-lifetime golf travel experiences in coordination with its travel partner, DareToGo.

What’s Next?

In Fall 2022, the Golf Trolls NFT will mint and go live for sale for a to-be-determined price in US dollars or Ethereum (ETH) utilizing the Troll Leasing Marketplace. There are five levels of NFTs based on rarity that will be included in the initial minting of 2,500 tokens. These levels are: 

• Championship Tees:  Bonus Perks and Legendary Trolls
• The Tips: Top Tier Trolls
• Blue Tees: Unique Trolls
• White Tees: Standard Trolls
• Red Tees: Basic Trolls
